What this site stores on your device, and why.

The short version

This site sets a small number of things it cannot work without, and asks before it sets anything else. If you decline, the analytics script is never loaded at all: it is not loaded and then told to ignore you.

What we set without asking

These are strictly necessary, which means the site does not function without them. They are stored in your browser and are not sent anywhere.

• Your basket. What you have added, so it is still there when you move between pages or come back later.
• Your cookie choice. So we do not ask again every time you load a page.

What we ask about first

• Google Analytics. It tells us which pages people read and roughly where in the world they are. It is loaded only if you accept, and it is what the banner is asking about.

What we do not set

No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. Nothing that follows you to another website.

Payment and checkout

When you pay, the checkout is handled by Stripe or PayPal on their own pages, and they set their own cookies under their own policies. We never see or store your card details.

Changing your mind

Clear the site data for this domain in your browser and the banner will ask again the next time you visit. Every browser has this under privacy or site settings, usually as "cookies and site data".
